Cockroach is an insect whose name comes from Spanish word "cucaracha".There are about 4500 species out of which about 30 species are associated with humans.There are many kinds of cockroaches such as American cockroach,German cockroach,Oriental cockroach,Asian cockroach etc.Cockroaches are noctural in nature and run away when light is exposed to them.Asian cockroach are special kind of species that are attracted towards light.Cockroaches breathe through a system of tubes called "Tracheae".The fact of cockroach is given below.
