About Pearls

Pearl is made up of Calcium Carbonate in minute crystalline form,formed inside the soft living tissue of shelled mollusc.It is an object of beauty since centuries and is found very rarely in nature.They are highly valued gemstones and formed without any human intervention in it.Nowadays artifical pearls are used in jewellery as the natural pearls are not easily found.
